Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain tools and services supporting our Linux-based products. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that streamline workflows and boost productivity.

The role emphasizes Bash/Python scripting, Java development, and IaC with Ansible within a hybrid Annapolis Junction environment. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Experience writing Bash/Python scripts to automate tasks.
• Extensive Java development experience.
• Experience with Atlassian SDK.
• Experience with Ansible IaC.
• Documentation of configurations and changes.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitLab CI.
• Containerization with Docker.
• Git for source control and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and services for product suites.
• Collaborate with software developers, system admins, PMs, and customers.
• Deliver seamless integrations to enhance productivity and workflows.
