Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks a Systems Engineer to provide project and technical leadership across mission-focused programs. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through architecture development, design, integration, and testing for complex space systems, ensuring adherence to requirements and schedule.

Role requires active TS clearance, 10+ years of experience, and readiness to relocate to onsite locations such as Seal Beach, CA or other listed sites.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (past 24 months active).
• 10+ years of related experience in systems engineering or leadership roles.
• Experience leading people in a technical environment as a team lead or manager.
• Experience communicating with senior managers, customers, suppliers, and government representatives.
• Willing and able to relocate to listed onsite locations.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (ABET preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead an impactful team across design, build, deployment, operations, and maintenance for critical platforms and systems.
• Direct architecture requirements and design, guiding a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Provide oversight to ensure process discipline and adherence to technical requirements.
• Navigate complex system architectures with multiple stakeholders.
• Promote modern best practices across programs for development and integration.
• Anticipate risks and communicate mitigations to teams and leadership.
• Contribute to strategy, roadmaps, and technology plans for end-to-end mission systems.
