Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to analyze user requirements, develop system specifications, and provide technical leadership across architecture and design. You will guide stakeholders, assess feasibility, and integrate new plans into operations, ensuring system integrity and clear documentation.

The role requires strong collaboration with government and program personnel, and preferred TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 14 years of Systems Engineering experience in similar scope, type, and complexity.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Salt, Ansible).
Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance preferred.
Strong Kubernetes networking, configuration, and deployment across secure environments.

Responsibilities

Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
Develop technical documentation and system architecture and design documentation.
Interact with Government regarding Systems Engineering considerations and issues.
