Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical direction across requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, and lifecycle management of complex mission systems.

You will translate user needs into system requirements, develop architecture solutions, manage baselines, and coordinate across teams to ensure verification against defined requirements. This role supports DoDAF, JCIDS, and security planning as part of a mission-focused program.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph required at time of application.
• Minimum of fourteen (14) years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline; five additional years may substitute for the bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Translate user and stakeholder needs into system requirements and manage baselines across DoDAF/SOA environments.
• Develop and allocate system and functional requirements across hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
• Derive lower-level requirements, ensure they are complete and verifiable.
• Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of components.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and maintain technical integrity of the system baseline.
