Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Algorithms to support the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) program, developing solutions for GPS navigation systems.

The role requires running and testing MATLAB/Simulink models, documenting equations, performing data analysis, and collaborating with a small team to meet program goals. This is an on-site Fullerton, CA position with security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and mathematical derivations.
• Experience in model-driven design and software development principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms, tools and models for the JPALS program.
• Conduct statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Support research, analysis and troubleshooting in a small team.
• Translate technical papers into high-fidelity models and presentations.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams.
