Job summary

Paragon Technology Group seeks a Systems Engineer IV to provide senior-level support for the JTMS Joint Program Office. The role emphasizes systems engineering, RMF accreditation, Agile requirements coordination, and governance across DoD programs.

The candidate will work with Systems Engineering, Testing, and Chief Scientist functions to ensure secure, accredited, and well-managed systems aligned with DoD and USTRANSCOM requirements. Leadership and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Minimum of 9 years of systems engineering experience on complex IT or DoD systems.
Strong written and verbal communication, including briefing senior government stakeholders.
Ability to lead technical discussions across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience collaborating across technical, functional, financial, and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

Perform systems engineering analysis for complex DoD information systems, including evaluation, verification, and validation of solutions.
Develop, review, and maintain system architectures and engineering artifacts in DoDAF or other formats.
Conduct technical reviews of contractor deliverables and provide recommendations to improve performance, reliability, and security.
Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies across lifecycle phases.
Support RMF and system authorization activities, including documentation development and maintenance.
Provide recommendations on security best practices to support system authorization, audits, and assessments.
Coordinate with security engineers, developers, DISA, and government stakeholders to resolve security issues.
Review and support Agile requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with architecture and security.
Facilitate or support Agile governance forums (CCBs, ST/ARTs, RRBs, TIMs).
Provide analytical and administrative support to requirements and engineering review boards.
Participate in milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, ORR).
Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, RMF, Agile environments, and governance forums.
