Job summary

SOC LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for a contract-to-hire role onsite in Belleville, Illinois. Must have an active Secret clearance. The role focuses on senior systems engineering, RMF accreditation, Agile coordination, and governance in DoD environments.

The candidate will support systems engineering and testing branches, ensuring secure, accredited, and well-governed systems aligned with DoD and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with DoD IT systems, RMF accreditation, and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering analysis for complex DoD information systems.
• Develop and maintain system architectures in DoDAF or approved formats.
• Review contractor deliverables and improve system performance, security.
• Support RMF accreditation activities and system authorization.
• Coordinate with security engineers and government stakeholders on issues.
• Lead or support Agile governance forums (CCBs, ST/ARTs, TIMs).
