Job summary

Paragon Technology Group, Inc. in Illinois seeks a Systems Engineer IV to provide senior-level systems engineering support to DoD programs, focusing on systems engineering, RMF accreditation, Agile requirements coordination, and governance.

You will work with the Systems Engineering and Testing Branch and the Chief Scientist to ensure secure, accredited, and well-managed solutions. The role requires strong communication, 9+ years of experience, and active SECRET clearance; you will review

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Active SECRET clearance.
Minimum 9 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
Experience with RMF, cybersecurity accreditation and compliance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform systems engineering analysis for complex DoD information systems.
Develop and maintain DoDAF architectures and engineering artifacts.
Conduct technical reviews of contractor deliverables and provide improvement recommendations.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across the lifecycle.
Support RMF and accreditation activities and documentation.
Coordinate with security engineers and government stakeholders to resolve issues.
Review Agile requirements and ensure traceability to architecture and security.
Participate in milestone reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and ORR.
Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and brief senior stakeholders.
