Revolutional, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise infrastructure at the Department of State. The role emphasizes Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware ESXi), automation with PowerShell and Python, and cloud adoption.

You will manage PKI, certificate lifecycles, and security controls (STIG/NIST) in a secure on-site environment, with <10% travel. This full-time position offers a salary of $150k–$180k DOE and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of server administration experience.
Proficient in PowerShell for complex admin tasks and automation.
Experience with virtualization platforms (ESXi/Hyper-V/KVM) including Horizon.
VDI deployments and AD in production environments.
SolarWinds for monitoring.

Responsibilities

Own Windows Server/AD services across production enclaves for high availability.
Design and manage enterprise virtualization platforms for efficiency.
Automate deployment and configuration at scale using scripting.
Architect PKI and manage certificate/TLS lifecycle.
Troubleshoot network, identity, and application integration issues.
Document runbooks, SOPs, and participate in change windows.
Contribute to cloud strategy with AWS/Azure integration.
Ensure compliance with STIG/RMF/NIST in secure environments.
