Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a System Administrator to install, configure, secure, and maintain mission-critical IT systems in a Washington, DC onsite environment.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a Bachelor's in IT/CS, 5 years of IT experience, and Security+ certification. Expect shift flexibility between 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm ET, with salary between 100k and 130k DOE.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration or a related role.
• Security+ Certification.
• Willingness and ability to flex between 1st and 2nd shift (6am–2pm ET or 2pm–10pm ET).

Responsibilities

• System Configuration and Maintenance: install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and patches.
• Security Management: implement security measures, conduct audits, apply patches.
• Helpdesk Support: provide end-user support and troubleshoot issues.
• Backup and Recovery: implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain configuration docs and generate reports.
• Automation and Optimization: identify and automate repetitive tasks.
• Collaboration and Communication: work with IT teams and stakeholders.
