Voyager Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead technical planning and coordination on defense programs. You will liaise across disciplines, manage day-to-day engineering tasks, and ensure requirements, schedules, and deliverables align with program goals.

The role requires formal defense industry exposure, strong engineering judgment, and excellent communication with stakeholders. Expect travel up to 10% and work in secure environments as needed.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 4–7 years in project engineering, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with DoD programs and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Support the technical planning and execution of defense and aerospace projects.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) with program and engineering teams.
• Participate in cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Coordinate engineering inputs across mechanical, electrical, systems, and software disciplines.
• Assist in identification and tracking of program risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of engineering project plans and integration activities.
• Help develop statements of work (SOWs) and support subcontract management.
• Assist in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and customer meetings, drafting test plans and interface documentation.
