Melaleuca Inc. seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer II to support and optimize enterprise infrastructure across global operations. You will drive automation, reliability, and scalability with a focus on Linux and Ansible, plus scripting in Python/PowerShell. Cloud experience is a strong advantage.

Ideal candidates will have a deep technical background, automation ethos, and comfort operating in a multinational environment from a home-based Idaho or Utah setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on Linux in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation with Ansible.
• Working knowledge of Python and PowerShell for scripting and automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise server environments and data center infrastructure.
• Strong problem solving, with ability to design scalable solutions.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Must reside in Idaho or Utah. This is a home-based role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Global Systems Team, supporting systems worldwide.
• Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and automation using Ansible.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts leveraging Ansible, Python, and PowerShell.
• Install, configure, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including hardware, virtualization, storage, and data protection.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests with timely resolutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
