Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to provide comprehensive SE&I support for complex intelligence programs. You will facilitate systems engineering processes, manage requirements and configurations, and coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups to deliver integrated solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of SE experience, 5+ years in IC environments, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle systems engineering including requirements management and configuration management
• Develop system architectures and maintain requirements traceability matrices
• Provide technical analysis and develop reports for program leadership
• Support risk management and maintain technical documentation
• Lead working groups, IPTs, and technical review boards
• Develop briefing materials and present assessments to senior leadership
• Conduct SE studies and provide recommendations

VTG is looking for a Sr Systems Engineer, located in Chantilly, Va.

What will you do?

Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide comprehensive Systems Engineering and Integration(SE&I) support for complex intelligence community programs. Position requires facilitating systems engineering processes, configuration management, requirements analysis, and technical coordination across multiple stakeholder organizations.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle systems engineering activities including requirements management, configuration management, and architecture development
• Support risk management processes and maintain technical documentation
• Facilitate change management processes and coordinate requirements across diverse stakeholder groups
• Develop system architectures and maintain requirements traceability matrices
• Provide technical analysis and develop reports for program leadership
• Support working groups integrated product teams, and technical review boards
• Develop briefing materials and present technical assessments to senior leadership
• Conduct systems engineering studies and provide

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience5+ years of Intelligence Community systems engineering experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance w/Poly
• Demonstrated experience with systems engineering standards and methodologies
• Strong facilitation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences

Desired Qualifications

• Systems Engineering Professional Certification (INCOSE, ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP)
• DoD acquisition or operations experience
• Experience with supply chain management or facility infrastructure programs
• NRO or IC operational systems experience
• Masters Degree in technical discipline

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $150,000 - $195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
