Jeffer Mangels & Mitchell LLP is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the firm’s technology infrastructure across networking and servers. You will lead certificate management, disaster recovery, and high-availability initiatives while collaborating with attorneys and admin teams to ensure secure and scalable IT services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator/engineer
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Python, or SQL; experience with MDM and deployment tools

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, VxRail, NAS).
• Design and manage Layer 2/3 network infrastructures with advanced switching/routing.
• Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and manage VLANs, STP, LACP/EtherChannel.
• Administer and secure networks with firewall policies and VPNs (Palo Alto, Meraki).
• Lead SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management and PKI/CA administration.
• Oversee Windows Server environments (2012-2019) and Active Directory domains.
