Job summary

Blitt and Gaines, P.C. is seeking an experienced Systems Administration Manager to oversee a three-person team, drive security and reliability across hybrid systems, and partner with Infrastructure Engineering on architecture and large projects.

You will manage Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure, with VMware, VDI, and physical servers, ensuring strong incident handling and documented SOPs. This is a leadership role in a law firm IT environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems administration, systems engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring technical team members.
• Strong hands-on AD/Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory experience.
• Extensive design/build/maintenance of Azure infrastructure.
• Experience with VMware virtualization and VDI environments.
• Experience administering physical servers and storage.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of three Systems Administrators and provide technical direction.
• Administer AD/Entra ID and Azure environments; manage identity lifecycle.
• Design and maintain Azure infrastructure, VMs, networking, security, monitoring.
• Oversee hybrid AD/Entra ID sync and cloud integration projects.
• Manage VMware infrastructure, templates, and lifecycle management.
• Support and administer VDI and physical servers; ensure performance.
• Develop SOPs, incident triage, escalation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and DR planning.
