Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex engineering projects for chillers, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and guide engineering excellence from design to release.

The role requires 10+ years of systems engineering experience (or 8+ with a Master’s) and 5+ years of project leadership, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering with 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering with 8+ years of systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the technical deliverables of complex project with significant scope and complexity.
• Work cross-functionally with the organization to effectively introduce and support the chillers through their life cycle.
• Confirm product performance, capability and reliability utilizing system modeling and applicable test methodologies.
• Provide technical support for activities including quality escapes, non-conformances, turnbacks, and production disruptions.
• Defines and documents product standards for the engineering team to follow in product development.
• Mentors and coaches less experienced engineers to ensure product changes adhere to design standards, documented, validated, and released in accordance with company processes.
• Travel up to 10%
