Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a senior systems engineer to lead complex engineering projects within HVAC solutions in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage technical deliverables, collaborate across functions, and ensure product performance through modeling and testing.

Candidates should have 10+ years in systems engineering or 8+ with a Master’s degree, plus at least 5 years of leadership experience in engineering projects. Some travel is required up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering and 10+ years of professional systems engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading Engineering projects.
• Master’s degree Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering and 8+ years of professional systems engineering experience, plus 5+ years leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages the technical deliverables of complex project with significant scope and complexity
• Work cross-functionally with the organization to effectively introduce and support the chillers through their life cycle.
• Confirm product performance, capability and reliability utilizing system modeling and applicable test methodologies.
• Provide technical support for activities including quality escapes, non-conformances, turnbacks, and production disruptions.
• Defines and documents product standards for the engineering team to follow in product development
• Mentors and coaches less experienced engineers to ensure product changes adhere to design standards, documented, validated, and released in accordance with company processes.
• Travel up to 10%.
