Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Senior Thermal Systems Engineer to develop high-performance chiller architectures using advanced thermodynamic modeling and optimization. You will work across engineering labs and with marketing and operations to ensure new technologies transition to production and meet market needs.

The role requires strong systems engineering, HVAC experience, and ability to drive product improvements from concept to launch, with a focus on robust design and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HVAC systems/mechanical engineering experience.
• Or Masters degree and 3+ years of HVAC systems/mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design, fluid filtration and pumping.
• Work cross functionally with the technology organization to develop technologies that launch into production.
• Develop chiller system architecture solutions that meet product development requirements.
• Confirm product design performance and reliability testing using DOE methodologies.
• Collaborate with product marketing to develop product requirements for launches.
• Follow design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.
• Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines and systems.
