Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex chiller projects and support their lifecycle from design to validation. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
The candidate should have a relevant engineering degree with 7+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally with HVAC domain knowledge and Six Sigma certification. Travel up to 10% is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related field.
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage components of complex projects within the chillers lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support life cycle of chillers.
- Provide technical support for quality escapes, non-conformances, turnbacks, and production disruptions.
- Define system level requirements for chiller products with limited supervision.
- Ensure changes adhere to design standards, are documented, validated, and released per processes.
- Verify product performance, capability and reliability using modeling and tests.
- Travel up to 10%.
