Job summary

National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is modernizing GEOINT Reporting and Workflow Orchestration to a service-oriented architecture. This role guides architecture development, decomposes capabilities into epics, documents baselines, and coordinates with vendors to meet the planned baseline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• 12 years of experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
• Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
• Experience with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Experience engineering solutions using Cloud Based Technology such as: SOA, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
• Experience in Geospatial-Intelligence Analysis systems, tools and processes.
• Experience coordinating communication between customers, developers, users and/or other teams.
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.

Responsibilities

• Guides planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements and architectures.
• Assists Government in translating requirements into system capabilities and solutions.
• Coordinates between Government PM and DevOps teams using Agile methodologies.
• Supports analyses and allocation of requirements to architecture components.
• Assists in systems integration activities, technical planning, project management, and risk management.
