Job summary

Vervic Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise Windows infrastructure in a DoD/cleared environment. You will manage identity, PKI, and group policy across mixed OSs and lead root-cause analyses of outages, while mentoring junior staff.

Expect Linux and containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker) in hybrid setups, with collaboration across architecture, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years systems engineering experience in secure/cleared environments.
• Active TS; must be able to obtain TS/SCI
• DoD 8140 compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows infrastructure (AD, PKI, Group Policy)
• Manage identity and access systems, certificate authorities, and PKI infrastructure.
• Depending on specializations: Linux systems, containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on architecture, security, and operational improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis for system outages or performance issues.
• Mentor less‑senior engineers and technicians.
