Job summary

Vervic Inc. is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise networks in Washington, DC, on-site.

You will lead multi-vendor network architecture, focus on security, and drive root-cause analyses for outages and performance issues. The ideal candidate holds an active TS clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI) and possesses expert-level certifications such as CCIE/JNCIE, with DoD 8140 compliance experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of network engineering experience in secure/cleared environments.
• Active TS clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Expert-level professional certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE.
• Experience with senior-level responsibilities.
• DoD 8140 compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks (multi-vendor but Cisco-heavy, multi-site, dense with technology).
• Lead root cause analysis for outages and performance issues.
• Engage teams with other expertise on relevant projects and systems.
• Communicate issues clearly to teammates and leadership and collaborate on resolution.
