Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, Montana, is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead design, planning, and implementation of enterprise systems. The role focuses on performance tuning and robust recovery procedures for mission-critical environments.

You will serve as a technical expert in system administration, recommending OS and application configurations and guiding projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Systems Engineering, or Networking (required).
• Minimum 5 years as Systems Engineer or Hardware Technician.
• Knowledge of Windows OS (desktop/server), Exchange, TCP/IP, Active Directory, VMware, SAN/NAS, Citrix.
• Certifications: MCSE, CCNA, or VCP preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and independent project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and tune enterprise systems for peak performance.
• Lead recovery procedures and high availability planning.
• Provide system administration expertise for complex operating systems.
• Install, update, and maintain all computer equipment across the organization.
