Job summary
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Systems Engineer (Systems/Software) in Camden, NJ.
You will lead both Systems and Software engineering efforts for safety-critical, cybersecure power solutions for defense customers, collaborating across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to meet stringent military requirements. Responsibilities include requirements capture, SDRL documentation, proposals, and ensuring traceability from system to software levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 6 years in Systems/Software Eng, or Master’s with 4+ years.
- 4+ years in systems engineering, lifecycle, standards.
- 2+ years C programming and familiarity with Assembly.
- Experience with embedded software and system requirements tracing (MIL-STD/EIA/IEEE).
- Strong documentation, test planning, and customer-facing communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical aspects of projects and coordinate requirements.
- Develop system/subsystem specifications and design reviews.
- Create test plans and validation artifacts for systems and software.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams including hardware, software, and test engineers.
