Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Sr. Manager for Integration Systems & Encryption Functional Engineering in Camden, NJ. You will lead cross-discipline teams, drive program execution, and scale an integrated operating model to meet critical commitments.

The role emphasizes Agile practices, safety, and mission assurance, with senior leadership influence and a focus on ownership and measurable outcomes. On-site position with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience; Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with workforce planning, staffing strategy, recruiting, and talent development.
• At least 3 years of experience with EVMS/CAM responsibilities and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more cross-discipline engineering teams or a department, including planning, staffing, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Own functional execution for scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality across projects, pursuits, and programs.
• Implement and scale an integrated operating model with clear role ownership, decision rights, and accountability.
• Establish repeatable engineering processes, common tools, and shared metrics to enable segment-wide interoperability.
• Lead cross-functionally across a portfolio of programs to align priorities and deliver results.
• Build and maintain workforce and staffing plans to ensure the right talent capacity for current and future business needs.
• Own recruiting, hiring, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and development of high-performing teams.
• Drive disciplined engineering rigor and verification practices to improve first-time-right execution and reduce rework.
• Enable Agile delivery and rapid prototyping/simulation approaches while maintaining safety, compliance, and mission assurance requirements.
