Job summary

SCIGON in Georgia seeks a Systems Engineer III (Electronic) to lead development of advanced electronic control systems for connected products and IoT-enabled solutions across the product lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded controls, a BS in Engineering, and strong collaboration with software, hardware, testing, and product teams to drive design, verification and validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing embedded microprocessor-based control systems.
• Experience with electronic control systems for appliances, industrial equipment, or similar embedded applications.
• Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and product certification requirements.
• Experience with requirements management and test case development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop advanced control architectures and system requirements for electronic and connected products.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in controls engineering for product development teams.
• Participate in development and continuous improvement of systems engineering processes, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extend system architectures and electronic controller designs.
• Develop design concepts, create models and prototypes, and conduct performance testing.
• Work with software, hardware, testing, and product teams throughout the lifecycle to ensure deliverables.
• Define and perform verification and validation activities supporting product development and launch readiness.
• Support manufacturing engineering teams and suppliers through test procedures and control specifications.
• Partner with customer support and training teams to provide product and controller training.
