Job summary

SCIGON is seeking a Systems Engineer III (Electronic) to design and develop advanced electronic control systems for connected consumer and industrial products, including IoT-enabled solutions. This role provides technical leadership across hardware, software, and verification activities throughout the product lifecycle.

You will define architectures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform V&V, and support manufacturing and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of embedded control systems experience.
• Experience with embedded microprocessor-based control systems.
• Experience with functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and/or product certification (UL).
• Experience with requirements management, traceability, and test case development.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including product management and hardware/software teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop advanced control architectures for electronic and connected products.
• Provide technical leadership in controls engineering for product teams.
• Develop and improve systems engineering processes and quality standards.
• Collaborate to extend system architectures and electronic controller designs.
• Develop concepts, create models/prototypes, and conduct performance tests.
• Work with software, hardware, testing, and product teams across the lifecycle.
• Perform verification and validation activities for product development and launch readiness.
• Support manufacturing teams and suppliers with test procedures and documentation.
• Train customers and teams on product controllers as needed.
