Job summary

The Davis Companies in Evans, GA is seeking a Controls Engineer (Embedded Systems) for a direct-hire role focused on advancing automotive control technology. You will help define engine and vehicle control architecture and telemetry, and contribute to model-based development for hardware and software.

You will lead and mentor designers and technicians, navigate agency and regulatory approvals, and ensure safety standards are met through rigorous testing and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in control systems design or systems engineering, preferably in automotive.
• Experience with embedded systems controls.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of product safety and design standards.

Shift of the Controls Engineer (Embedded Systems):

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Onsite 5 days/week)

Salary of the Controls Engineer (Embedded Systems):

$120,000 - $130,000 per year
