Job summary

SSATI is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to lead DoD programs in the Aurora area. The role requires 20+ years of SE experience, strong planning and leadership in Systems Engineering, and a background aligned with DoD architecture standards such as DoDAF and SOA.

Qualifications

• Twenty years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Ability to analyze requirements, OPs documents, and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specs.
• Provides technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Interacts with Government regarding SE considerations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of system requirements and allocation to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from reviews and meetings requiring cross-discipline coordination.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based on development and operational considerations.
• Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.
• Develop system design solutions that satisfy requirements and functional analysis.
• Review program work breakdown structures and master plans for system engineering content.
• Develop systems engineering documentation like SE Plans, ICDs, and Interface Control Documents.
• Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance and security mechanisms.
