Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in North Charleston, SC to engineer, secure, and manage Windows and Linux platforms, VMware, and VDI while delivering RMF compliance and vulnerability remediation in support of DoD customers. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, automation, and documentation.

The candidate will lead system-level remediation, implement endpoint security, and ensure DoD/Navy security requirements.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required and active clearance preferred.
• Extensive experience with DoD cyber requirements and RMF.
• Strong troubleshooting and vulnerability remediation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and secure Windows and Linux systems (RHEL).
• Maintain baseline configurations and optimize virtualization.
• Lead vulnerability remediation and RMF activities.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
• Support ACAS scanning and Navy C4I environments.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team and produce technical docs.
