Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in the Charleston area to lead and secure enterprise Windows and Linux environments, including VDI and AD/GPO management. The role requires DoD-level clearance and DoD cybersecurity compliance expertise.

The candidate will automate infrastructure, support RMF activities, and contribute to vulnerability remediation, with a focus on C4I systems for DoD customers.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with SSBI/T5 investigation; TS/SCI desired.
• 10+ years of experience with C4I systems and cybersecurity support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• DoD 8570/IAT II certifications (e.g., Security+).
• Experience supporting Navy C4I environments and DoD policies.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and secure Windows and RHEL systems.
• Maintain and enforce baseline configurations.
• Administer VMware vSphere/vCenter environments.
• Support VDI infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory and GPOs.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Bash, Linux scripting, Ansible.
• Lead vulnerability remediation and RMF activities.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
• Produce and review technical documentation.
• Coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team.
