Job summary

Agile IT Synergy, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to lead security accreditation, RMF/IA implementations, and continuous monitoring across DoD environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology or related field; typically 6–8 years of experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Experience submitting RMF packages and implementing DoD IA controls; familiarity with DISA and NIST RMF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and/or obtain systems accreditation and authorization for defense information systems and advise the Delegated Authorizing Official as required.
• Support RMF and IA for continuous monitoring in accordance with applicable DoD policies.
• Support RMF Step 6 Continuous Monitoring for major defense information systems.
• Support deployment and accreditation of workloads in commercial cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Maintain documentation for mission systems and ensure compliance with CNSSI 1253 at required confidentiality, integrity, and availability levels.
• Coordinate with engineering and management to ensure source code for software/VM changes is reviewed for CtF/ATO approvals.
• Prepare and submit Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents and related security plans for government review.
