Job summary

CompQsoft is seeking an experienced Systems Security Engineer (IA) to design, implement, and maintain secure DoD information systems at Fort Meade. The role focuses on RMF compliance, ATO support, and continuous monitoring within the MANDO IA team.

The successful candidate will perform vulnerability assessments, apply DISA STIGs, coordinate remediation, and develop security documentation such as SSPs, POA&Ms, and SARs, while collaborating with ISSOs, admins, and project teams to meet stringent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of Systems Security Engineering or Information Assurance experience.
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure system architectures and controls.
• Support RMF, ATO, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Apply DISA STIGs and validate security configurations.
• Develop security documentation (SSP, POA&Ms, SAR).
