Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This Hybrid role combines three days onsite with two days remote and requires travel about two weeks per quarter.

You will support the Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program (PMA-242), focusing on acquisition, development, and sustainment of AARGM-ER and HARM (AGM-88), applying systems engineering methods to integrate complex weapons systems and manage configurations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with DoD-related engineering background.
• 10+ years in engineering with at least 3 years in DoD systems.
• 10+ years applying engineering to complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of complex engineering tasks and programmatic roles with little or no guidance.
• Provide engineering support for development of AARGM-ER and HARM, AGM-88.
• Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate military weapons systems and related support systems.
• Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other documentation.
• Apply systems engineering methods to integrate complex systems, manage configurations, test quality assurance, and manage acquisition resources.
• Guide the engineering development of modern complex systems and travel one to two weeks per quarter.
