Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in North Charleston, SC for an onsite role with relocation if outside the Charleston market.

The engineer will manage Windows and Linux platforms, VMware, AD/GPOs, and automation to support secure DoD environments and RMF compliance. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in C4I and cybersecurity, with DoD/Navy experience, IAM certs, and proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and IaC (Ansible, Terraform).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with C4I systems and cybersecurity support.
• DoD security requirements and RMF compliance experience.
• Experience supporting Navy C4I environments.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT II certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and secure Windows and RHEL systems.
• Maintain and enforce baseline configurations.
• Administer VMware vSphere/vCenter environments.
• Support VDI infrastructure and AD/GPOs.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
• Lead vulnerability remediation efforts and ACAS analysis.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and Navy requirements.
• Coordinate documentation and engineering reviews.
