Job summary

Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving DoD customers, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in North Charleston, SC. This is an onsite role requiring relocation if outside the Charleston market.

You will engineer and secure Windows and Linux systems, manage VMware vSphere, VDI, AD/GPOs, and enforce baseline configurations while supporting RMF and DISA STIGs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in C4I with DoD clearance, plus experience with ACAS, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with C4I systems, with focus on systems engineering and cybersecurity support
• Strong knowledge of DoD RMF and DISA STIGs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and secure enterprise Windows and RHEL systems
• Maintain and enforce baseline configurations
• Administer and optimize VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter environments
• Support VDI infrastructure
• Endpoint & Configuration Management
• Manage Active Directory and GPOs
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash / Linux scripting, Ansible
• Lead vulnerability remediation efforts to closure
• Support RMF activities and POA&Ms
• Coordinate and knowledge-share within a multi-disciplinary engineering team
