Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own the engineering, hardening, baseline enforcement, and lifecycle management of Windows, Linux, virtualization, and endpoint platforms in secure DoD environments. You will lead vulnerability remediation, RMF activities, and DISA STIG compliance while integrating ACAS scanning and SB tooling.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Windows and RHEL, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, and automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Possession of a DoD Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and secure enterprise Windows and RHEL systems.
• Maintain and enforce baseline configurations.
• Administer and optimize VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter environments.
• Support VDI infrastructure.
• Endpoint & Configuration Management.
• Manage Active Directory and GPOs.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
• Lead vulnerability remediation efforts and RMF activities.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide technical documentation and participate in reviews and boards.
