Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cyber Vulnerability Analyst at Fort Meade, MD to join a team delivering secure, mission-critical capabilities in a DoD/IC environment. You will analyze vulnerabilities, support vulnerability management, and advise on mitigations with executive-slevel communication.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, SCIF work, and experience across cyber threat intelligence, risk assessment, and incident response within federal programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive vulnerability analysis experience (6 years with a master's).
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required or must be obtainable.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanners, assessment tools, and scripting.
• Experience with DoD/IC cyber mission environments and enterprise security programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of software, firmware, hardware, protocol, and configuration vulnerabilities and assess impact.
• Lead authorized vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and red/blue/purple-team activities on IC networks and enclaves.
• Develop risk-scoring methodologies combining CVSS, exploit availability, asset criticality, and threat actor intent.
