Voyager Technologies, a defense, national security and space technology company, seeks a Systems Engineer - Project Engineer V to lead high-complexity programs with DoD customers. You will direct architecture, verification, and integration across multiple teams, ensuring performance and contractual alignment.

The role requires top-tier leadership, DoD lifecycle expertise, and the ability to mentor engineers while interfacing with executive management. Expect travel and secure environment work.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required or obtainable.
• 10+ years in project or systems engineering leadership.
• Experience as CAM and EVMS-based contract lead.
• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle and MIL-STD processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer for large defense programs.
• Define system architecture and verification strategies.
• Oversee IPTs, subcontractors, and cost/schedule compliance.
• Lead design reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR) readiness.
• Interface with DoD customers and executive management.
• Manage SOWs and major supplier inputs.
• Develop risk management frameworks at enterprise level.
• Mentor project engineers and leads; support proposals.
