Job summary

SimVentions, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for acquisition, development and sustainment of aviation programs. This full-time on-site role requires presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

An active Secret clearance is required; candidates may need to obtain Top Secret. The successful candidate will develop software requirements, coordinate with vendors, participate in SE reviews

Qualifications

• Ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review vendor software specifications and evaluate integration.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support ECP processes and prepare SOWs and CDRLs.
• Contribute to Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and contractor proposal evaluations.
