Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) discipline, supporting the LTAMDS Family of Radars. This role spans the full lifecycle from concept to deployment, in a dynamic defense environment.

You will collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions that ensure mission-critical systems operate reliably. Travel up to 20% to various RTX facilities and sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with systems software, systems hardware, requirements, integration and/or test.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, interfaces, and concepts of operations.
• Lead testing efforts and verification documentation in simulated and real environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues with data analysis.
• Collaborate to drive performance improvements and resolve issues.
• Model and simulate system performance to support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems for functional assessment.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless integration.
• Document integration plans and communicate results to leadership.
