Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer III to support development of a variety of military based, complex systems. You will lead the systems engineering efforts and support design, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge defense technologies.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our military customers. A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience and an active Secret clearance are required, with SAP level

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline with 5 years of related experience.
Excellent written and oral communications.
Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP level clearance.
Experience with system modeling and requirements decomposition is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition in support of system design.
Develop system requirement specification for the overall system including verification plans.
Generate overall system architecture to satisfy customer, functional, reliability, and safety requirements.
Address Engineering Lifecycle from development to manufacturing to fielding and support.
Ensure requirements traceability, interface management, and risk analysis; coordinate milestone reviews.
