Job summary

Leidos in the Security Sector's NSS CABA is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering expertise across architecture, development, requirements, data flow, network design, and verification for Navy Key Management programs.

You will lead the system development lifecycle, manage requirements, develop CONOPS, assess risks, and document designs while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of system engineering experience or equivalent work history.
• Experience with MBSE and the Systems Engineering V-model for government programs.
• Knowledge of RMF, Agile development, risk management, and complex documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering, hardware, and software analysis to support the NGLD-M project.
• Define and apply systems engineering processes to meet customer requirements.
• Lead the entire SDLC from requirements analysis to verification, validation, and sustainment.
• Manage requirements, including decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation for development and test teams.
• Define and develop System Architecture, CONOPS, and use-case development using SE methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to secure hardware.
• Lead discussions at customer meetings, working groups, and technical interchange meetings; produce and review technical documentation.
