Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical direction across requirements, architecture, design, integration, verification, and lifecycle management of complex mission systems for national security initiatives.

You will translate needs into system requirements, manage baselines, coordinate across teams, and ensure DoDAF and SOA compliance while supporting JCIDS and risk assessment throughout development, deployment, and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fourteen years of Systems Engineering experience with similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex systems.
• Lead requirements elicitation, CONOPS, and interface-standard development.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and multiple teams to ensure traceability across the lifecycle.
• Maintain technical integrity of baselines and support DoD Certification/Accreditation processes.
