Job summary

Odyssey is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a DoD acquisition mission at Fort Meade, MD. You will provide expert-level systems engineering across the acquisition lifecycle, working with DoD leadership to plan, analyze, and execute critical programs.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in systems engineering (5+ with DoD), a US citizenship, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Strong writing skills and experience with cyber-related programs are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizen with TS clearance eligibility or ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience, with at least 5 years supporting the DoD
• Experience with USCYBERCOM and JCC2 programs and applications
• Strong written communication ability and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level systems engineering support across the DoD acquisition lifecycle
• Develop and review technical documentation, briefings, and planning materials
• Conduct trade studies and risk management activities per SEAM processes
• Apply Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin in lifecycles
• Ensure compliance with policies and improve system performance
