Job summary

SurePoint Technologies Inc. in Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support infrastructure across colocation, AWS cloud, networking, storage, and identity services.

You will lead moderately complex projects and mentor engineers to uphold enterprise standards. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable systems, with travel to the Cincinnati data center as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Military or specialized IT training with extensive experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support infrastructure spanning colocation, AWS cloud, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Lead moderately complex infrastructure projects from design through implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues; serve as escalation point for engineers.
• Develop and refine infrastructure standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Evaluate new tools to improve scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives.
• Maintain platform availability, reliability, and security through monitoring and maintenance.
• Mentor less experienced systems engineers.
