Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Systems Engineer Sr Principal to advance operations in a classified workstation environment. You will architect, engineer, and operate a secure enclave with AD, GPOs, and MECM to ensure secure, reliable access to mission-critical systems.

The role requires a current Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 10+ years of related experience. Onsite in McLean, VA with DoD 8140/8570-01-M compliance; salary range $157,250–$212,750 plus total

• Current Top Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the architecture, engineering, and O&M of the classified secure workstation enclave, including Active Directory and GPOs.
• Collaborate with engineers and cybersecurity specialists to design, build, configure, and sustain workstation services.
• Use AD, GPOs, MECM, and core security controls to implement secure workstation configurations.
• Review and improve system architectures; develop test plans and briefings.
• Follow engineering procedures and playbooks for the workstation enclave and security controls.
• Support ConMon validation and security assessment preparation.
