Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Systems Engineer Principal to lead a team designing and implementing a secure private cloud for a SOCOM customer. You will define architecture, security posture, and operations, overseeing migration efforts in a regulated environment.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 7+ years of experience, and a strong background in AD, Windows Server, PowerShell, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V). Located at Fort Bragg, NC on customer site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory administration and Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022).
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and systems automation.
• Experience with troubleshooting for technicians/end users using Service Now.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and administrators in developing and executing a cloud strategy for a SOCOM private cloud.
• Define architecture, security posture, and operational processes for the private cloud.
• Oversee application migration efforts and ensure compliance with DoW for handling classified information.
