Job summary

Medtronic in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the Cardiac Ablation Solutions unit to refine systems engineering, conduct interface testing, and integrate the system into electrophysiology cath lab hospital environments.

You will participate in cross-functional teams, apply design controls, and work onsite four days a week to foster growth and collaboration in a fast-paced medical device setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Master’s with a minimum of 2 years or PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced systems engineering skills.
• Medical device experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-functional development teams in the creation of integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing, training, and guidance documents.
• Develop expertise in the application of systems engineering principles and identify opportunities for applying systems engineering within work assigned to the team.
• Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education in technical questions.
• Propose and implement changes to improve systems and/or processes.
