You will apply systems engineering and Design Controls to improve processes, influence stakeholders, and ensure robust patient-safe solutions throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR Master's with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and comfort in the hospital environment.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, including defining systems architecture within medical device product development.
  • Experience with the application of Design Controls for medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interface testing within the system and during commercial support.
  • Integrate the system into Electrophysiology catheterization laboratory hospital environments.
  • Participate on cross-functional development teams.
  • Create integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing, training, and guidance documents.
  • Develop expertise in applying systems engineering principles.
  • Identify opportunities to apply systems engineering within assigned work.
  • Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training and education with technical questions.
  • Propose and implement changes to improve systems and processes.
